TGIF is  a Friday meme hosted by Ginger at Greads. She always has the best questions.

Today’s Question:

Musical Stories: If you could read a book about any song, which song would you love to see written down in story form?
Answer:

Shameful truth: I’m not really into music. I’ll listen to it if it’s quiet and I need something to fill the silence, but I get overstimulated by noise and any music that is too much puts me in an immediate bad mood.

Having said that Adele is right up my alley with soothing music with real heartfelt messages.

Set Fire to The Rain – Adele

Set fire to the rain would make an incredible paranormal book with a woman falling into a fiery underworld and a man catching her and kissing her, but turns out to be Hades and he breaks her heart.

  4. This is one of my all-time favorites! Adele's voice is so soulful and piercing, I could seriously listen to her all day, lol. I could very easily see a story written about this song--great choice!

  6. I totally relate to your feelings about music. My boyfriend’s whole life revolves around music(he’s a musician), but I just don’t really ever casually listen to it unless it’s on the radio in the car. That being said, I love Adele! She is one of the few artists that I really adore and think has a great talent! Great pick and I love the storyline you came up with to go with it!

  7. Thanks! The hubs is so into sports that it sorta consumes his life, so I can totally relate to not sharing the same interests.

  8. Yes, her voice is so heartbreakingly beautiful. I can't imagine her on happy songs, but she says she's going to start singing happier songs.

I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO right there with you. When I was young, I listened to allot of music. But now mostly I get overwhelmed or overstimulated. I really enjoy the quiet. My exception is Adele. I LOVE her music and this is my favorite of her songs.
