At the beginning of each month I will be culminating all area events and will send out an e-mail if there are any events worth mentioning. I’d love it if you include any book clubs you may be a part of that is looking for members as well.
You do not have to be involved in any of the events to be on the mailing list. Those who click yes on any of the following events I’ll send you a form later on with questions relating to the events.
Secret Pal- I’ll switch up names and assign each member a pal. Who will then send their pal something throughout the year for birthdays, holidays, and just random love. You will not have to participate in every single Secret Pal event, but once a year just send something to your pal.
Box of Books- I’ll start a box of books and send it out to area members. You will be allowed to drop off the box of books at another’s house if they live close by and you want to save on the shipping, but I’ll be tracking the movement throughout so it doesn’t get lost.
Book Clubs- I’ll be listing book clubs that are accepting members and if there is enough interest I wouldn’t mind starting one for area book bloggers.
Meet-ups- Go to dinner, or a movie premiere, or holiday parties. This is where I hope to see the most participation! What’s better than getting new bookish friends! I'll make sure to plan events in different areas of the city so no one has to drive all the way across town every time.
