Follow Friday: Favorite Book Dad

Question:

Happy Father’s Day! Who is your favorite dad character in a book and why?

Answer:

I’m not sure. I do like Parajunkee’s choice of Charlie, but somehow I think he should be a bit more intrusive.

Oh I know! I’m gonna go with Fletcher from the Elemental Assassin series! He may not be present very long, but his presence is felt in almost every single movement made by Gin. He did an impeccable job of both giving Gin a secure stable home and instilling some great values into her. Plus, he sorta reminds me of my grandfather.

A close second and perhaps equal to Fletcher is the father from P&P. Even though his wife is usually being a complete basket case he seems to be able to keep a calm demeanor and he truly loves his family. His humor makes him an amazing father.

Also have you seen the Lizze Bennet Diaries? I adore it!
