Follow Friday is a blog hop hosted by Parajunkee's View.

This week's question:

Do you have a favorite series that you read over and over again? Tell us a bit about it and why you keep on revisiting it?

Answer:

Rie- I don’t really re-read series, but anything by historical author Julie Garwood.

Pabkins- Jim Butcher’s Dresden Files and Kim Harrison’s The Hallows.

This week’s question:

Reading Challenges: Did you sign up for any this year?

How has your progression been?

Answer:

Rie- Yes, a shitload of them, but I forgot which ones and haven’t kept up with.

Pabkins- I’m a total newbie and haven’t a chance to sign up for any.

  1. When I first started blogging I signed up for a whole bunch of reading challenges and I didn't finish a single one.  Since then I don't even bother anymore. I rather just read whatever I'm in the mood for. I also don't think it's that interesting to read about everyone else's challenges, but perhaps that's just me.

  4. I love the Dresden Files! Each book is a seperate story but reading the whole series gives you a deeper meaning. And so re-readable! Great choice! :)

  5. Hopping through. I've heard of Julie Garwood, but I can't place her. Will have to look her up.

  6.  Hooray and I completely agree - though I've heard that Ghost Story isn't it's own story. I haven't read it yet though.

  8. I don't know how Rie  feels about Challenges. I don't mind the whole "read this many in the year" challenges but I haven't yet seen any challenges that catch my eye.  Normally I'm more of a mood reader as well. I walk into my library and I have to be in the mood for a book.  If I force myself to read something then a book that would normally take a day or two could end up taking a month!!
