Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme by Breaking the Spine that allows us wonderful bloggers a chance to spotlight upcoming books that we are dying to read.

This week I’m waiting on:

Goodreads:

When Los Angeles is devastated by a catastrophic earthquake, seventeen-year-old human lightning rod, Mia Price, finds herself at the center of a power struggle between two fanatical doomsday cults, one that wants to save the world, and one that wants to destroy it . . . and she will be the deciding factor in which cult succeeds at their aim.

Why I'm waiting:

There’s not much information about this book out yet as it will not be released until the Spring of 2011, but it looks so interesting. Dystopian, mayhaps some paranormal and the graphics on her website are amazing so if the cover is anything the like it will be to die for.

  1. Sound very unique. Cannot image what it would be to be a lighting rod. Great pick!
