10. Rose and Lissa- Rose will do anything for Lissa, and Lissa is pretty much useless for the first 3 books. Then Lissa turns into a better friend, who doesn’t mind breaking into prisons to break out her enemies. #VampireAcademy

9. Seth and Ash- I am so glad she didn’t immediately do what was expected of her and be with the Summer King. Seth is strong and safe, the perfect boyfriend. #WickedLovely

8. Dana and Keane- Way better boyfriend material. He has a mouth on him and is not going to allow anyone to control him, which she’ll need. Btw, I haven’t started Shadowspell, but I will soon. #Faeriewalker (review coming)

7. Raven and Kitt- She has sacrificed her family for her pride (wolf pride), but then realizes Raven and her twins mean more than her pride ever could. Raven is amazingly strong and a great father. #DarkBrethren

6. Alex and Lena-Lena is a sheep, but Alex brings out the life within her. He is willing to die for her safety and freedom. #Delirium

5. Nathaniel and Ameila- Nathaniel truly cares for Amelia even if that means he can’t be with her. He is literally the wind that makes her fire flame. #TheVespertine

4. Menechares and Kira- She is brave and strong and he is ancient and needs her love. He would do anything to protect her. #NightHuntressWorld

3. Cat and Vlad- I’m in love with Vlad. He is a great friend to Cat and is not intimated or coerced by Bones into helping her at every turn. #TheNightHuntress

2. Sara and Elana- Sara is a truly good friend who would even endanger her family to help Elana. Elana would do anything for either one of her friends even confront an archangel that seems to want to kill you.#GuildHunter (review coming)

1. Elana and Rapheal- He needs her humanity to be a better archangel and she needs him to be a little more vulnerable. She is so witty, smart, and strong and he is so powerful. Together they make the perfect pair.#GuildHunter (review coming)

Why I want to read this:


Firstly, I’m into Sirens right now. Powerful women who can bring men to their death’s but choose not to. Struggle not to.


Secondly, that cover. It’s amazing.


Thirdly, choosing between the man she loves or possibly killing the man she loves with a power. She already knows the pain of killing the man she loves with a power she can’t truly control.

In style of Breaking the Spine’s meme, I am waiting on This Side of the Grave by Jeaniene Frost. This really shouldn’t be a surprise if you’ve read my review on the first in the series. Currently, I’m reading the second book in her spin off series Night Huntress World.
