  1. I'm reviewing Fins are Forever by Tera Lynn Childs :) The link to the actual cover is  (http://www.goodreads.com/book/photo/9471670-fins-are-forever)

I absolutely love the covers in this series. There's something just cool and kind of eerie about how calm but intense the cover models are. Plus that blue lipstick is freaking sweet...I would love to wear that if it didn't make me look like I have been eating blue slushy all day...Still...I think that the blue lips and (duh) fins really make the series seem like something that has to do with water/mermaids..which it does. One of my biggest pet peeves is if the cover has nothing to do with the plot or the characters in a book and it's just there for effect. This is definitely NOT the case because you can definitely get an "under the sea" vibe from the covers! This one is better than the first book, Forgive My Fins, because the model's eyes are actually open. There's an intensity and confusion there in her eyes that we didn't get in the first book and I love it :)

  3. Interesting challenge but not so easy.
I've chosen to review the cover of Daimon, the prequel of Half-Blood  by Jennifer L Armentrout: link http://www.goodreads.com/book/photo/10860399-daimon

I absolutely love the covers of the Convenant serie and their etheral, magical feelings. For daimon it represents a Tulip but made of smoke or energy. It gives a calm feeling andcatch the eyes of the readers. There is a link with the story itself, the energy from which the daimons feed however  you can think of that only if you have read the book. So this cover is also a bit deceptive because when you see it you don't really think about fighting, war and strong minded characters.
The magical aspect of the story, the divine one ,in the opposite, is what comes first to mind.
    Lovely

  5. I managed to read one of the books for the challenge this month, but I definitely need to step it up a bit. :P

Hmmm, so many green covers, but my mind totally went blank, so I had to go searching...and I found WAKING STORMS by Sarah Porter (http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/12628635-waking-storms). I absolutely loved the colouring of this cover, but I definitely preferred the first book's, Lost Voices. This one the mermaid looks a bit thin and a little awkward. I absolutely love the title though, it's gorgeous, and I love the way the ocean  looks. So, I'd give the cover maybe 4 out of 5 stars because I really like it, but the awkwardness of the mermaid keeps me from loving it. It's still a great cover though. :)

The cover that I have chosen is The Emerald Atlas
    http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/8619814-the-emerald-atlas

I haven't read this book.  I purchased it for my kids.  I believe that I purchased it because of the cover.  It looks like a great adventure and a book that will grab my kids attention and fun to read.  It's one that I would like to read too. :)

  19. Book Cover: Oppression by Jessica Therrien.

This amazing  cover goes right along with the story. It shows the mystery and intrigue with the green fog that's surrounding the girl. It's just awesome!

I actually love the cover, and I loved the book as well! The girl trapped in the bubble is a great concept!

  22. I really love the cover of this book for many reasons. 1) The girl on it doesn't really look like some crazy model doing unnatural things. She just looks like a normal girl. 2) I love grass. I'm not sure what's up with that, so don't ask, but I just really like grass so having it make up basically the entire cover it awesome. 3) I really like how the title of the book is done. Cute, but not too showy. 4) There are also cute little daisies and daisies happen to be my favorite flower :]
