Once a month I will be hosting a new feature Little Known Blogs, in order to give the spotlight to blogs that I love that need need deserve a little more attention. In order to be considered for this feature you must have less than 200 followers and have great content. If you’d like to be considered for this feature please fill out the form!.

This month’s feature:

Why did you start your blog?

I've always read loads and I got back into reading in a big way when my first son was born. That Christmas my husband bought me a 'Book Journal' to keep track of my reading in and I loved it. I started to write my thoughts on each book down and give them marks out of five. Then I joined Twitter and started to tweet about the books I was reading. The blog was a combination of a natural progression of the book journal and tweets with a lot of encouragement to give it a go from hubbie who has blogged for years. I love keeping a record of the books I've read and my thoughts on them. In June 2010 One More Page was born and I'm now as addicted to blogging as I am to reading!

What is your favorite part of blogging?

Meeting other bloggers! It's the part that has surprised me most too. I used to read a couple of favourite book blogs but until I started my own blog I had no idea how big the book blogging community is. I've been amazed by how friendly and encouraging everyone is and it's lovely to chat to like minded people. The only negative (not really!) is that my wish list and 'to read' piles are totally out of control because the blogs I read are always throwing up great new 'must read' suggestions.

What book is your current obsession? (The one that you're so in love with at the moment)

Tough question - I'm finding it very hard to narrow it down to one. I'm currently reading 'It Started With a Kiss' by Miranda Dickinson. I've loved all of her books and this one is no exception - I dropped everything else to read it when it was released!

There are two other favorites this year that I'd recommend to anyone; The Taker by Alma Katsu and A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness - I can't wait for the sequels to come out!

What do you when you aren't blogging or reading?

My second baby boy was born in August so the majority of my time is spent with my family - they keep me very busy and I have to sneak in time to read and blog when I can. I'm currently on maternity leave but normally I work four days a week as a librarian too so there isn't much time for anything else!

Some reviews over at One More Page.
