The Master bedroom, having a second bedroom on the first floor (babies and in-laws), and the study/home library. So currently I’m obsessed with how I’m going to decorate the home library.

I’m not a fan of the brass, but I think they’ll do spendidly despite. And add just a hint of aged-ness to the room.
Paper Source 20x28 ($4)
I’ll likely frame this as wrapping paper is so delicate, but it doesn’t really need it to be gorgeous. The entire house will have photographs of cities from around the world and I think this will fit in nicely.
Ikea ($50 x amount needed) $200ish

ReplyDeleteI have the Billy bookcases, and bought extra shelves and the add on for the "to ceiling" attachment. My kids put it together and used the included brackets to attach it to the wall. We also bought 2 sets of doors for the bottom shelves for the middle pair and have our dolls in one and all the grandkids crafty stuff in the other. We have them in white.. on a teal carpet with pale yellow walls. (you can see photos of them on my FB page)

I love the Billy Bookcases and those colors! What is that very first color called and who makes it??? I have been searching for it forever! We have the same color palette. My favorite desk is in Pottery Barn, but I refuse to pay that much for it! Good luck house hunting!!

Love what you've chosen. Have you thought about having the Map of World as wallpaper covering an entire wall?? Also you might want to give Pinterest.com a look-see. There are a lot of great ideas in terms of decorating on there.
