This Week’s Question:

What superhero is your alter-ego?

Rie’s Answer:

First, I was like I have no freaking clue. Then in talking to Pabkins’ she brought up Xena and I was like oh the sidekick. Yeah, I’m most like her. Naive farm girl turned warrior. Her sweetness gets her help from unexpected sources and she’s basically the girl next door that can turn on you in an instant. Yeah, that. Plus, hell’s to the yeah, Hercules? Cyclops? Goddesses? Amazonian girl power?

Total mythology geek out here!

Pabkins’ Answer:

If I were a superhero I would be Catwoman.  She is the ultimate pissed off bitch! She's out for blood and doesn't play nice, but she can still do right.  This is my kind of hack and slash girl and she does it all with a PURR!

This Week’s Question:

Book Blogs That Make You Smile: Pick 5 book blogs you visit often & think others should, too.

Rie’s Answer:

I Swim For Oceans

Rabid Reads

Tynga's Reviews

Gone with the Words

  Pabkins’ Answer:
  My button

My Shelf Button

Read-a-thons:

This weekend we are participating in a couple of read-a-thons that we will be updating you on. These read-a-thons come at a pretty oppurtune time for us. Rie has the next few days off from class due to doctors orders and the lovely cold that turned into pneumonia. Pabkins' is coming off a week long of being on call and is quite exhausted. So we will be spending the weekend with books in hand.

                       Rie and Pabkins

Essentially, we are two sides of the same coin. We both love to read but have tastes that range to such opposite ends of the Fiction spectrum!  Rie our blonde haired smoothie perhaps is the light and lovey side of us, Pabkins the chocolate haired one brings us the darker delights.

  6. Gabrielle and Catwoman are both awesome choices in their own way. I absolutely loved Gabrielle on Xena and I have been obsessed with Catwoman for years -- I think I was her for Halloween once as a kid, even. :) I couldn't narrow it down to just one character. I picked three! BTW, new follower. You have a very nice blog. :)
